Looking for a start?
Register once and we will call you when something lands that actually fits your trade, your tickets and how far you are willing to travel — from site work to professional and white-collar roles.
- 01
Browse & apply
Search our live job board and apply to any role that fits your skills and experience. No login, no middleman — straight to the listing.
- 02
We get in touch
A consultant calls to understand your goals, your experience and the kind of role you are after. A real person who knows your trade.
- 03
Start your new role
We match you with the right employer and support you through to your first day and beyond. We sort the induction, the paperwork and the check-in.
Short on site?
Tell us the trade, the headcount and the start date — or the white-collar role you cannot shift. We go to people we already know and have already checked, then get them inducted and on site.
- 01
Tell us the job
Trade, headcount, site location, tickets required, start date. One call or one form — two minutes, not twenty.
- 02
We shortlist
We go to people we already know and have already checked. You get a short list of workers who can do the job, not a stack of CVs to wade through.
- 03
Crew on site
Inducted, ticketed and briefed before they arrive. We stay on the phone through the first week to make sure it stuck.

Nobody gets turned away at the gate.
We sight and verify every licence, VOC and induction before a worker is put forward. If a ticket has expired, they do not go out — no exceptions, no arguments on site at 6am.

Straight answers
What roles does NLH Workforce supply?
Labourers, boilermakers, carpenters, welders, rail workers, civil construction crews, excavator and loader operators, and drillers and offsiders — plus white-collar and professional roles including project managers, engineers, safety advisors, administrators, estimators and drafters. Within each area we cover entry level through to experienced, ticketed and qualified professionals.
How fast can you get someone on site?
For common trades in South East Queensland we can usually have someone inducted and on site within 24 hours, and same-day for straight labour when we have people available. Specialist or ticketed roles take longer — we will tell you honestly on the first call rather than promise something we cannot deliver.
Do you check licences and tickets?
Yes, every time. We sight and verify White Cards, machine VOCs, high-risk work licences, Rail Industry Worker cards and trade qualifications before a worker is put forward. If a ticket has expired, they do not go out.
What does it cost a worker to register?
Nothing. Our service is completely free for workers — we are engaged and paid by the hiring employer, so you will never be charged for registering with us or being placed in a role.
How do employers get charged?
Labour hire is charged at an hourly rate covering the worker’s pay, on-costs, insurances and our margin. For permanent placements we work on a contingency or retained basis depending on the role. Either way you get the numbers in writing before we start.
Do you work outside Brisbane?
Our office is in Shailer Park and South East Queensland is our home ground, but we supply crews nationally and regularly place workers on regional and remote projects, including camp-based rosters.
What happens if a worker is not the right fit?
Call us and we will replace them. We would rather fix it in the first week than have you carry someone who is not working out — and we do not charge you for the time it takes us to sort it.
Need someone on site?
Ring us. We answer.
Tell us the trade, the site and the start date. If we can help we will say so on the first call — and if we cannot, we will tell you that too.
